Article 15 of Organic Law 3/2007, of 22 March, for the effective equality of women and men, establishes a general mandate for all public authorities to integrate the mainstreaming of the principle of equal treatment between women and men in all their actions.
The cross-cutting nature of the principle of equality is a priority for the Ministry of Justice.
