Ministry of Justice

​​​​​​mjusticia.es is the Ministry of Justice Portal. It has been designed with a content structure and a navigation system based on guaranteeing ease of use, understanding and accessibility for all users.

Throughout the Portal there are two common parts, the header and the footer. Below are the contents of each one of them:

Logo

On the top is the Ministry of Justice logo. By pressing on it, regardless of where you are, you can access the home page of the Ministry of Justice.

Languages

The Portal includes versions in the co-official languages (access to limited versions in Catalan, Basque and Galician) and in English. If the contents are not available in the language chosen, they will appear in Spanish​.

The menu to select the language is in the header, on the top right of the home page and of the results page.

Here the language the page is on, shall be highlighted.

Search

The Ministry Portal has a search box where you can search for text across the Portal.

Main menu

On the top is always available the menu with the main areas which the Portal is divided into:​​ 

When viewing the contents of any section, the corresponding menu will be highlighted and colored for differentiation.​

Here are the following sections​:

• The Ministry: information about the composition of the Ministry of Justice and access to the functions and internal structure.
• Justice Administration: : information of interest related to Justice Administration, judicial organization, the Prosecutor's Office and the General Council of the Judiciary.
• Legislative Activity: information on the Regulations, the General Codification Committee and the EU Legislative Cooperation Network.
• Topics: various areas of interest related to Citizenship, civil status, registries and international area.
• Professionals: provides access to information about the professionals connected to Justice Administration on www.administraciondejusticia.gob.es.

On the bottom are several links that provide access to additional information on the Ministry of Justice Portal:​ 

• Legal Notice: recipients and conditions of use of the Portal.
• Web Map: navigation outline of the website contents.
• Navigation Guide: information on the mjusticia.es Portal navigation.
• Channels: various options to follow the latest news of the Ministry of Justice.
• Useful links: list of useful links grouped by topics.
• Accessibility: detailed description of the accessibility commitment acquired.
• Citizen Information: direct point of contact with the Portal.

Outside the home page, on the top of the page title, there is a header identifying where you are, and the journey you have covered to reach the current page. The first two parts of the header are links that allow navigation.
