Who is processing your personal data?
The personal data processing activities are conducted by various Data Controllers, based on the purpose of the transaction or request made. The Registry of Processing Activities (RAT) identifies the Data Controllers registered at the Ministry, the list of which is published on

What is the purpose of the processing?
The various purposes and their legitimacy may be checked upon access to each service and/or procedure offered by the Ministry; and in general, in the inventory published.
You may find detailed information or a link to access the same on each processing upon accessing the transaction or in the corresponding forms.
No profiling or automated decisions shall be made based on these personal data.

The legal grounds justifying data processing shall vary depending on the purpose of the transaction or request made by citizens.
Upon access to the transaction and/or the forms, the specific legal grounds for the processing in question shall be indicated.

Exceptionally, some processing may be based on consent by the Data Subject.
How long do we keep the data for?
They will be kept for the time necessary to fulfill the purpose for which they were collected and to determine any possible liability derived from said purpose and the processing of data. The Regulations on archives and documentation shall apply
Which recipients shall data be disclosed to?
When processing your procedure and/or request includes legal obligations related to the legitimacy of processing which requires assignment or transfer to third parties, the third-party recipients of said data shall be indicated as well as the purpose of their processing activities in the published inventory.
No international transfer of your personal data is contemplated.
What are your rights in relation to your personal data?
In general, to exercise your rights, you must send an email to

Right of access
| This right enables you to be informed of the following:
The purposes of the processing, categories of personal data processed and possible disclosure of data and recipients. If possible, duration of storage of your data. Otherwise, the criteria to determine said term. Of the right to request rectification or erasure of data, restriction of processing, or right to object. Of the right to file a complaint before the Supervisory Authorities. Should an international transfer of data occur, receive information about the adequate guarantees. Of the existence of automated decisions (including profiling), the logic applied and the consequences of said processing.

Right to rectification
| The right to rectification allows you not only to rectify inaccurate data, but also to complete incomplete personal data, even with an additional statement.

| This right enables you to object to the Controller processing personal data in the following cases:
When they are subject to processing based on a mission of public interest or legitimate interest, including profiling:
The Controller shall stop processing the data unless they evidence imperative reasons which prevail over the interests, rights and freedoms of the Data Subject, or for the formulation, exercise or defence of claims When the processing has the purpose of direct marketing:

Right to erasure
| With this right, you may request erasure of your personal data immediately in any of the following cases: If your personal data are no longer necessary in relation to the purposes for which they were collected or otherwise processed.
If your personal data must be erased to comply with a legal obligation established in European Union Law or the Member States applicable to the Ministry of Justice.
Nonetheless,
this right is not unlimited, so it may be feasible not to erase the data when processing is necessary to comply with a legal obligation, to comply with a mission conducted for the public interest or exercising public powers granted to the Ministry of Justice, for reasons of public interest, for archival purposes of public interest or statistics, or for the formulation, exercise or defence of claims.

Right to restriction of processing
| This right enables restriction of processing of your data conducted by the Ministry of the Presidency, Justice and Relations with the Cortes (Secretariat of State of Justice), when you contest the accuracy of your personal data, during a period that allows the Ministry of Justice verification. However, this right enables you to ask the Ministry of the Presidency, Justice and Relations with the Cortes (Secretariat of State of Justice) to keep your data, even when no longer needed for the processing purposes, if you need them for the formulation, exercise or defence of claims.
