It is the responsibility of the Secretariat of State of Justice to propose and execute the Government policy for the development of the legal system, without prejudice to the competences of other departments, Government relations with the Justice Administration, with the General Council of the Judiciary and the Prosecutor's Office, through the General State Attorney, and international legal cooperation, as well as other functions attributed by law.
