Bolaños attends the commemoration of the 50th Anniversary of the Monarchy at the Royal Palace and Congress

Bolaños asiste a los actos de conmemoración del 50º aniversario de la monarquía

The Minister of the Presidency, Justice and Relations with the Cortes, Félix Bolaños, attended on Friday the ceremony to present the Golden Fleece, held at the Royal Palace on the eve of the fiftieth anniversary of the Spanish monarchy’s proclamation.  Next, at the Congress of Deputies he attended the conference “50 years later: the Crown in the transition toward democracy”.

At the first event, the King presented the Golden Fleece to Queen Sofía, the former President of the Government of Spain, Felipe González, and the Fathers of the Constitution of 1978, Miquel Roca Junyent and Miguel Herrero y Rodríguez de Miñón.

Speaking at the event in the Congress were its President, Francina Armengol, Iñaki Gabilondo and Fernando Ónega, as moderators and media witnesses of the Transition, Juan Pablo Fusi, professor of History, Adela Cortina, professor of Ethics, Rosario García Mahamut, director of the Center for Constitutional Studies, Juan José Laborda, former President of the Senate, and His Majesty, King Felipe VI.
