The Minister of the Presidency, Justice and Relations with the Cortes, Félix Bolaños, participated in the homage to José Enrique Serrano, who passed away in June and was the former Director of the Cabinet of the Presidency of the Government during the mandates of Felipe González and José Luis Rodríguez Zapatero.
In his speech, the Minister praised Serrano as a civil servant committed to the Constitution, with a generous and open disposition, and exemplary both professionally and personally. Following the speeches, Bolaños and former President Zapatero presented the Medal of the Order of Constitutional Merit, which was received, on behalf of the honoree, by María Val Hernández García.
The event was also attended, among other authorities, by the President of the Congress of Deputies, Francina Armengol.
