The Law of Efficiency has consolidated the existing model of the Judicial Office, but which had only been implemented in certain judicial departments.
The Organic Law of the Judiciary defines this structure as the “instrumental organization to support and assist the court activities of judges and courts”.
With this new regulation, every Instance Court shall have a Judicial Office, which will provide it with all the shared services and full support, without distinction between sections, judicial positions or courts, in order to ensure a more standardized, agile and coordinated response.
Thus, the Law of Efficiency reinforces the role of the Judicial Office as the key administrative support for the Instance Court model, which will mean more efficient management of material and human resources assigned to the judicial district.
